At the end of his administration, that is, when he prepared the inventory of the succession (the assets and liabilities), paid the debts of the succession and delivered the specific bequests, the liquidator must render a final account of his administration.

This account must be sufficiently detailed so that the heirs can verify its accuracy. The liquidator must be able to deliver the administered assets and supporting documents at the end of his administration.

Following the acceptance of the liquidator's final account by the heirs, he must publish a notice of account closure. The publication of this notice will confirm that the administration of the liquidator of the succession has ended, that it has been approved by the heirs, and that the distribution of the assets in their favor has been carried out. This notice must be published in the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights (RDPRM) in order to terminate the liquidator's responsibility with regard to the administered assets.
